Projects & tasks

Plan work in a structure your team can actually navigate. Ask Tori for the boring synthesis.

Creating a project

  1. 1

    New project

From the workspace dashboard, click New project.

  2. 2

    Name + description

Give it a clear name and a short description of the goal. The description is the first thing Tori reads when answering project questions.

  3. 3

    Add members

Add only the workspace members who should see this project. Members not added can't see it, even if they have admin rights at the workspace level.

Tasks

Tasks have a title, an optional description, an assignee, a due date, and a status (Todo, Doing, Done, or any custom statuses you create). Drag to reorder; group by assignee, status, or due date.

Tip

Stuck on what to do next? Open the project's Tori chat and ask “what should I work on this morning”. Tori reads the task list, your due dates, and the project description, and proposes a focused list.

Tori inside a project

Each project has its own Tori thread that knows the project's context — the description, the task list, and any files you've attached. Useful for status summaries (“summarize what got done this week”), planning (“break this task into smaller pieces”), and rubber-ducking.

Files & references

Attach files to a project for shared reference. Most common documents (PDF, Word, plain text, images) are supported. Tori can read attached text-based files when answering project questions.

Archiving

When a project is done, archive it. The work stays accessible to project members for reference; you can unarchive any time to revive it.
